Briard Association Championship Show

Thank you, to the Committee for inviting me to judge this Championship Show. I was pleased with my entry, finding the temperaments of the exhibits excellent. Thanks also to my able stewards.

 

Minor puppy dog. 1 abs

Puppy dog. l

1st        .  Green's Stormfield Hekta.  Eye catching fawn, lovely stong head, good eye and bite. Good reach of neck, good top line, nice hind angulation.  Will watch this youngster with interest.

Junior dog 2.1 abs.

1st        Rawlings Cariadbri Caradoc. Black, nice head dark eye, good reach of neck at the moment going through coat change. Took a while to settle, was the gay and lively type.

Maiden dog. No entries

 Graduate dog.

 Post graduate dog 2, 1 abs.

1st          Biddlecombe's Chavell Bonjour Jeramiah.  Nice fawn boy, stong head good bite; good reach of neck.  Level top line with good tail carriage and good hind angulation.  Moved with drive, well presented.  R.CC,

 Limit dog 5, 4 abs.

1st         Mackay's Lizabett Forest Stroller at Debsbrie. Dark fawn, nice head dark eye good reach of neck.  Level top line. On the move his outline was spoilt by a gay tail.

 Open dog 6, 4 abs.

lst        Clarke's Peluche Pass The Dutchie. Impressive black, lovely strong head. Good bite, dark eye, nice reach of neck. Good front and chest, lovely top line and good hind angulation.  Lovely outline when standing.  Moved around the ring with drive and correct tail carriage. Pleased to award him CC and BOB.

2nd       Cann's Poldhu Pickwick with Cantanna. Another quallty black,good head nice dark eye. Good reach of neck, level top line, lovely overall conformation. Movement not so fluent today as 1.

 Veteran dog. l

1st        O'Donnell's Triskele Lord Of The Dance. 7 year old black. Strong head lovely dark mischievous eyes, good reach of neck, good top line.  A dog full of character. In the challenge for Best Veteran the handler certainly got the best out of him. Was pleased to award Best Veteran.

 

Minor puppy bitch 3, I abs.

1st.       Ryan's Robinsdene Magic Melody at Badgerhurst.  Fawn girl, pretty head, dark eye, good neck and front.  Level top line, good hind angulation.  Steady on the move.

2nd.     Collins Stormfield Tilly at Lincamild. Another nice fawn, nice head, dark eye and good reach of neck.  Good hind angulation.  Not quite as steady as l, but both are babies and am sure will change places many times.

 Puppybitch 2.

1st.       Wilson's Jandade Bear'Lushus. 11 months fawn, feminine head, nice dark eye and good reach of neck. Level top line good hind angulation. Good tail set, moved well, well presented. Best puppy.

2nd       Ryan's Robinsdene Magic Melody at Badgerhurst.

1st        Webb'sBarbureveBear Neseccity at Barronoaks. Quality black bitch. Lovely head, dark eye and good bite, good reach of neck, good front and top line, nice bend of stifle.  Covered the ground well. Beautifully presented.

2nd.     Smith's Jandade Precious Roxanne. Another nice black bitch. Nice head, dark eye and good bite, nice neck, good top line and good overall conformation.  Preferred the movement of 1.

 Limit bitch 8, 3 abs

What a lovely class this was, some really excellent bitches.

1st        Bithel & Jenkins Gilcoru Ghost D'Brie at Bourntwyn. Liked this bitch as a puppy, and she hasn't disappointed.  Lovely head, dark eye and good bite. Good reach of neck, lovely front, excellent top line, good bend of stifle. Moved with drive and covered the ground well. Was pleased to award her the Bitch CC.

2nd       Laver's Brichard Elara.  Another quality black bitch, nice head dark eye, good reach of neck, good front, good top line and tail set nice bend of stifle, covered the ground well.

3rd       Fletcher's Arrowflec Gimmi Gimmi Gimmi. Another very feminine black bitch. Nice head, good dark eye, good bite, good top line and good hind angulation.  Handled and showed well.

 Openbitch. 6, 3 abs

1st        Green'sWychbold Savannah.  Lovely black bitch, good head, dark eye and good bite, good reach of neck, good front and top line, excellent overall conformation, handled and moved well. Was pleased to award her Reserve Bitch CC.

2nd       Cann's Ch. Cantanna Magic Memories. Another lovely black bitch, feminine head, nice dark eye, good reach of neck, level top line and good hind angulation. Moved and presented well

3rd       Clarke's Barronoaks Total Eclipse. Well presented black bitch, lovely head, dark eye. Good reach of neck.  Overall pleasing conformation.  Although moved well, from the back didn't have the drive of 1 and 2 today.

 Veteran bitch. 5, 2abs.

These three ladies were all in fabulous condition and a credit to their owners.

1st        Ryan'sGlcoru Nightime D'Brie at Badgerhurst. In excellent condition, lovely expression, nice dark eye, good overall conformation. Moved well.

2nd       Westcott- Smith's Fosterbrie Moonlight at Tonibrie.  Feminine black, nice head level top line, good hind angulation.  In lovely coat, moved well.

3rd       Biddlecombe's Kellbry I'm Maddison.  Fawn bitch in lovely coat and condition. Nice head good reach of neck, good overall conformation.  Presented and moved well.
